Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2025
The short version
Problems you post are permanently anonymous — your identity is never attached to them, by design, not just by policy. Your solver profile (display name, bio, expertise) is public if you choose to become a solver. We don't sell your data. We don't run ads.
What we collect
When you create an account:
- Email address — used for authentication only, never shown publicly
- Password — stored as a secure hash by Supabase Auth, we never see it
If you build a solver profile:
- Display name, bio, expertise tags, website URL — shown publicly on your profile
- Avatar — stored in Supabase Storage, publicly accessible
Anonymity
When you post a problem, your account ID is stored internally to allow you to manage your post, but it is stripped from every API response before it leaves our servers. No other user, solver, or third party can link a problem back to your account. This is enforced at the code level, not just a setting.
Tokens
Token transactions are recorded in a ledger tied to your account. This is used to calculate your balance and display your transaction history. It is not shared with other users.
Data storage
Data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in the EU region. Authentication is handled by Supabase Auth. The application is hosted on Vercel. Both providers have their own privacy and security practices — see supabase.com/privacy and vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Cookies
We use session cookies set by Supabase Auth to keep you logged in. No tracking or advertising cookies are used.
Your rights
You can:
- Edit or delete your solver profile at any time from the Profile page
- Request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us
